About this project
This 1970s bungalow in southwest Calgary had a compartmentalized main floor with a dark, isolated kitchen. We removed a load-bearing wall, installed a flush beam, and reconfigured the layout into one connected space. New oak flooring, custom cabinetry, and updated electrical brought the floor up to current standards.
